The best season of the year...

Well, that time is among us once again. The nights are starting to get a little cooler, the days are getting a little shorter and the tree leaves are starting to change. One might say that all these items add up to fall and winter coming, but to us... this could only mean one thing... ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!!. So since we got married Tara and I have come to an agreement that carries on again for another year, so in our house its GO GATOR'S for college football, and GO BRONCOS for the NFL. Nothing else matters. So here is to saturdays and sundays... and to a whole bunch of football!

So the "Little Man" isn't so "Little"

Today we went for our 30 week ultrasound and much to our surprise we found out the following :

  1. He weighs 3 lbs 11 oz

  2. He is over 13 inches long

  3. He's got big lips

  4. He's too big for ultrasound pics

  5. He's Estimated due date has moved up to Nov 16th !

So the Baby Ticker will have to be updated now to read a week earlier and Mom couldn't be more excited about that.

This is pathetic.

You know you have a spoiled dainty cat when.....

Tent Sale Anyone?

Well I've come to the sad but very true realization that I am now too big for my first months maternity clothes....
I wanna thank all my contributers to the "cause" and say farewell to the lovely clothes I was provided in my 7 months of being pregnant.
Seeing as Alistairs daddy is over 6 feet tall , our little man is quite cramped in mommy's growing daily stomach, he's gotta be over 15 inches by now it seems. Monday we go for our 30 week ultrasound to see just HOW BIG he is.

So off to the nearest Sporting Goods store for TENTS!

Light Showers with a Chance of Diapers

Well to my surprise , Grandma McNeill, Rosanna and Samantha threw the most adorable shower for me and Alistair. The letters on the mantel were all handcrafted and are now placed over the crib in his nursery. The weekend started out with Rosanna and Sam flying in Friday night and getting up early to drive over the shower destination Saturday morning. There were so many delicous pastries and goodies to eat along with virgin and non virgin Bellini's !!
As you can see in the following pictures that I was very blessed with gifts for our "little man" and I'm so grateful for everyone that made it there.

Tapping the Rockies

Well this past weekend Tara and I got a chance to visit my sister and brother in-law in Colorado. Once we got up there we decided to head to the rocky mountain national park for a little family outing. Here are some pictures I took. It was a great day and I was really trying to capture the flowing water with a misty-wispy look. For my first attempt I thought they came out ok.

Some elk taking a lunch buffet..

All in all, we had a great time and it just made us want to move back there even more!!
